Anish has won the Grand Swiss in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. With 8 – 11 he was the sole winner of this extremely strong Open. It also brought Anish back to the seventh place on the world ranking list.
This automatically means that Anish has qualified for the Candidates in 2026, for the third time in his career. At the age of 31 he has a new chance to challenge the world champion. Will he succeed? We will follow his road in the spring of 2026!
